Hi everyone, welcome to my profile! My name is Dr. Blessina Birapaka. I have been a teacher at Jefferson County Highschool for the past 13 years, but have 25 years of teaching experience. I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Science and Education at Kakatiya University. I have a Master’s Degree in Botany, and a Ph.D (Doctor of Philosophy) in Botany. I have taken on the responsibility of being the Department Head of the Science at JCHS. It is my job to ensure that our department works together as a unit in order to provide the best education possible for your child. This academic year, I will be teaching Biology, Honors Biology, AP Biology, and Human Anatomy. My passion for teaching arose from wanting to make a difference in the lives of future generations as they become creative thinkers and innovative do-ers. I also have high expectations for each individual student as I want to encourage them to become the best versions of themselves by enhancing the quality of education. Furthermore, I am happily married and have two beautiful daughters who have graduated from JCHS and have pursued further education at Augusta University and Kennesaw State University. It has been an honor and privilege to be a part of Warrior Nation for so long, and I look forward to meeting you all very soon.
